Privacy Policy
Last updated July 14, 2026. This policy describes how HaulPoint handles information on this website.
What we collect
- Information you give us. If you subscribe to our newsletter, you provide your email address. If you leave a comment or email us, we receive what you send.
- Automatic information. Like most websites, our server records standard log data (IP address, browser, pages viewed) for security and operations. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic; where possible we use an analytics tool that does not track you across other sites or build an advertising profile.
- Cookies. We use the minimum cookies needed for the site to function and to remember your preferences. We do not sell your personal information.
How we use it
To deliver the newsletter you asked for, to operate and secure the site, to understand which content is useful in aggregate, and to respond to you. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Third parties
We rely on service providers to run the site – for example, our web host, our email/newsletter provider, and our analytics provider. They process data on our behalf under their own terms. We link to external sources (FMCSA, IRS, and others); their privacy practices are their own.
The newsletter
You can unsubscribe from any newsletter email with one click, and we will stop sending. We use your email only to send the briefing you signed up for and occasional service messages.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe at any time, block cookies in your browser, and request access to or deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable law. To make a request, email editorial@haulpoint.org.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Questions about this policy: editorial@haulpoint.org.
